AUTOMATION PROJECTS
New LTC Product Beta Assessment
Beta assessment, including product feature testing, customer feedback, determining impact of product on pharmacy operations and SNF operations. Developed feature and functionality requirements for continued product development.
Automated Unit Dose Box System
Developed system to automate the filling of 30, 60, and 90 dose unit dose boxes. Components include unit dose box building and high speed "spider-style" (also known as "delta-style" robot) Flexpicker robotics with vision system to determine product orientation. Product quality validated with an inline scale to count doses, followed by unitdose box closing and labeling.
Project Management of Multiple MTS On-Demand Implementations in LTC Pharmacy
Contract negotiation, determined ROI based on pharmacy formulary, and projected impact on pharmacy staffing. Managed the implementation process including staff training, go live, and corporate reporting. Implemented in LTC pharmacies with between 175,000 scripts per month to 300,000 scripts per month. Managed the post implementation reduction in staff.
Automated Blister Card Return System
Designed system to reduce the cost of the blister card return process. System configuration includes a vision system to determine the number of doses remaining in the card and barcode scanning to identify the specific perscription and medication.
